Our history
2008
Foundation of the sole proprietorship Kapptec
Marc-André Graewer founds the sole proprietorship KappTec, laying the foundations for today’s GRAEWER Group.
2009
A strong cooperation begins
Beginning of a successful collaboration with today’s Seiz Group, paving the way for future innovations.
2010-2015
Product developments
Various product developments such as glove holders, belt clips for bump caps and the Lasertemp are created. So far, production takes place in a double garage in Wendlingen.
2015-2016
From sole proprietorship to limited liability company
Thanks to a growing customer base and larger orders, the sole proprietorship Kapptec becomes GRAEWER Hightech Safety Solutions GmbH. Relocation to new premises (250 square meters) in Esslingen Zell.
2017-2019
Growth through innovation
Numerous product developments and successful customer projects result in patents that are still in use today. The team also grows with this surge in innovation and the number of employees increases to five.
2020
New location for further growth
GRAEWER Hightech & Solutions GmbH expands and moves to larger premises. Equipped with an overhead crane and almost 500 square meters of space, the foundation stone for growth is laid in Wendlingen.
2021
Expansion and realignment: Foundation of GRAEWER Kunststofftechnik GmbH
After the successful integration and takeover of P. Klaiber Kunststoff Be- und Verarbeitung in Neckartailfingen, GRAEWER Kunststofftechnik GmbH is founded on 01.01.2022. This strategic move enables the company to significantly expand its expertise and production capacities. With the workforce growing to almost 15 employees, the company’s position in plastics processing is strengthened.
2022
BECHINGER Veredelungstechnik and GRAEWER GmbH are created
The takeover of the insolvency assets of Prägetechnik Bechinger Stuttgart and the relocation to Wendlingen a.N. mark a significant step: The renaming to today’s BECHINGER Veredelungstechnik GmbH. At the same time, the original founding company GRAEWER Hightech & Safety Solutions develops into GRAEWER GmbH, further driving the company’s expansion and reorientation.

Reconstruction and growth: GRAEWER Kunststofftechnik GmbH at its new location
A devastating major fire destroyed GRAEWER Kunststofftechnik GmbH in Neckartailfingen down to its foundations. However, the company did not give up and started afresh by relocating and rebuilding at the new site in Dettingen unter Teck. Since then, the company area has grown to a total of 2000 square meters at all locations. Today, the GRAEWER Group employs almost 30 people and is stronger than ever.
2025
New name. New strength: GRAEWER Tooling Technology GmbH is born
With the acquisition of KICK GmbH, the mould-making expertise of a company that has grown over 50 years becomes part of the GRAEWER Group. The acquisition results in the formation of GRAEWER Tooling Technology GmbH – a new member with a wealth of experience in the field of toolmaking for plastic injection moulding.
